Don't faint! Scarlett's socks are finally finished! These have been on needles for quite a while - can you believe almost a year (actual start date: June 21, 2008)??? But, they are done - beautiful and soft.Yarn: Universal Yarn Inc. - Pace
Color: Bark 13 - Lot 6/1104
75% Super Wash Wool/25% Polyamide
Needles - US 3
Congratulations on finishing the socks! Many knitters only end up with one finished sock, it's so nice to see a complete pair.
ReplyDeleteVery nice...someday I'm gonna have a pair of hand-knit socks (NOT made by me.....too hard for me)....but I'll buy them at some shop or show if I have to do that...unless I can convince a friend to make them. Heck...I'd buy the yarn for them....I just need someone to MAKE them for me!!!
ReplyDeleteI am impressed!!!They look awesome...
ReplyDeleteHurray! They look wonderful and warm. It's been a while since I had a finish of any kind, so I'm not judging...
ReplyDeleteI love wrapping up long term WIPS!
ReplyDeleteGood for you, Sara! I have started a sock 5 times and torn it out 5 times. I think it's time to actually buy the real sock yarn. A fancy one.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done! I've finished my second test sock and think I'm ready for the real ones next!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Scarlett will love them!
