Brain Dead...

Remind me that I should not begin a new knitting porject at 8:30 pm! Sat down to watch tv about that time last night and cast on my second sock and busily worked away on the 2" ribbing. Imagine my surprise when I held up the sock and saw that I had been working away on a K2P2 ribbing - when the finished sock was a K1P1 ribbing!!!

Am casting on again tonight...wish me luck.

Oh no. Well just think of the pain it would cause if you HADn'T noticed. I know someone who did that very same thing but didn't notice until you put them on to wear. LOL

What a bummer! I'm like that too, at 8 pm I stop whatever I'm doing and just relax because it's just going to come out wrong. I'm sure you'll do much better this time!

I actually fell asleep with the needles in mid-stitch. Bob was laughing so hard, he couldn't move to wake me up.

That's why it is simple stockinette after 8 for me. Unless it's a deadline, then it's coffeeeeeeeee
