Winnings...

Each year New Hampshire Sheep & Wool Festival has an auction of prizes that are donated by the vendors. The monies collected go to education...

Basically, one buys 6 tickets for $5.00 and then goes around and drops a ticket into a coffee can for an item. I ended up buying $10.00 worth of tickets. One of the coffee cans was attached to this lovely prize:

It is a beautiful green Hand-dyed Merino skein of yarn and the pattern to make these adorable hats. The prize was furnished by: Mostly-Merino Fine Vermont Yarn. I was very happy to win this!
Each month one of my favorite quilt shops Hana Lima Hand Dyes holds a contest and the prize is a $35.00 gift certificate to their store. I was the February winner!!! And this is what I got (I spent more than the gift certificate - but isn't that what you are supposed to do???)

The above are yard cuts of a stunning batik and two black and whites for my black and white quilt.
These would be fat quarters - and they are stunning!!!!
Check out these adorable little pockets ...aren't they cute??? And guess what they have inside -
25 - 5" charm squares - Batiks
25 - 5" charm squares of her Hand Dyed fabric
And, finally 50 5" charm squares: 25 Batiks and 25 Hand-Dyed - and none of them are the same as the other packages.

These fabrics are among the nicest fabrics I've seen in a long time. And, her presentation in mailing them to you is exceptional. Thanks! It was a joy to be the winner!!!!

Good loot! I love Batiks. And the 5 inch charms are a good size for random splashs of color.
