Friends...You Gotta Have Friends...2...
Now is this not the coolest! My buddy, Susan, sent me coloring book pages that she printed out! And colored pencils, too...her note said that there is always time to color...She's right! She even took the time to make sure I had New Hampshire's State Bird and Flower and the page from Celestial Seasoning of my favorite tea! She even suggested that the colored pencils would help with designing my quilts! See - she listens! And, she knows me...and I am most fortunate to count her as a friend...
I haven't colored in years...but guess what I am going to do later!!! Thanks Susan for making my day a lot better!!!!

That is wonderful!!! Cherish your friends... I think you are such a good friend to many, so of course your friend karma is good!! :)
When you are done with those pages, check out Violette's Coloring Book for Adults called "Let Silly In". I've ordered one... I'll share it on my blog when I receive it.
Happy coloring!!
What fun! I don't use them as much as I should, but I do have a 64-count Crayola box and a couple of kids' coloring books. :)
That's such a perfect gift! I LOVE my colored pencils. And, those coloring pages are great to figure out applique patterns. (Ask me how I know.)
Now, make some tea and go play!
P.S.-And, yes, you should hang them on the refrigerator. Your mom will love it.
I have 64 box of crayola's too! and a Christmas coloring book. haven't played with them like I intended to, but I love to riffle through the book and remember my youth.
Oh what a unique & thoughtful gift! We all need some color in our lives. I'm preparing to take up watercolour painting again after 40+ years myself. ;-)
BTW, the flowers you got were really nice also. Nothing like color & flowers. That's why I wish I had shelves for my yarn rather than hat boxes under the bed, LOL.
I love Dave's idea about posting the pictures to your fridge...
How totally COOL of her! Susan's always doing something over the top thoughtful, isn't she? And how fun - coloring is great stress release as well!
Whew, glad you liked them. I was a bit hesitant about sending them wondering if you'd think I was losing it. Well, I guess we can lose it together LOL. And by all means put them on the fridge. Have you ever used those watercolor pencils? They work just like regular colored pencils but then, if you use a dampened brush, they turn into watercolor. Way fun!
Now that is a friend! I keep a Victorian home coloring book and colored pencils down by by reading chair for when the urge hits. I wish I could draw, but coloring is next best I suppose! Oh the smell of a new box of crayola's!!
