Laurel Burch

Famed artist Laurel Burch, whose gorgeous and bright fabrics were one of my favorites for use in quilting passed away. You can read more about it here. I certainly will miss her beautiful fabrics.

Condolences to her family and friends...

That's so sad to hear. I'd been following her career, and then her illness, and lost touch with her. I've got a collection of her fabrics, as well as some of her enamel cat buttons. Those will now find a special place. Thanks for posting this.

I see from Gutamini's blog you like to read. I have started an online book club and would love to invite you to read with us.

Oh that's so sad! I only recently discovered her beautiful work when hubby bought me a gorgeous kitty bag of hers. It's sitting right here next to my knitting chair right now.
