Check It Out...

Signs of Spring are arriving. On the way to quilting tonight we saw these beautiful deer in an open field. They just sort of stood there and posed for me...
That is until something scared them and off this one took!
But, this one seemed to want to just hang out and let me take photos.
My friend, Colleen, checking out an emu egg. One of our members has some emu and the female had eight eggs this year. They can be etched on and it goes down to about 7 different colors! It was very interesting.
This is one of our charity quilts - we make these blocks and always have some on hand. This quilt will go to an organization that helps people fix up their homes. They will raffle it off to make money to buy supplies.
