Ducks...
Taking better pictures has become an obsession with me lately...so, I find myself practicing a lot! These are some photos I recently took of some ducks...
Hope you enjoyed them...

I enjoyed them very much, Sara. Your philosophy of photography - keep practicing - is right on the money. I've read countless books and tutorials and classes, but I really learn only by picking the camera up and taking pictures. It's an endlessly iterative process, and I love being a part of it.
Besides, I have a thing for birds. They're just lovely to capture with a lens.
Popped by from Michele's today to see what treats you had in store for us. I wasn't disappointed. Then again, I never am!
Sara, I think that all of us who blog end up discovering sites like Carmi's and Dana's and others which inspire us to better and better photographs.
Me, I keep thinking that mine will get better if I just get a better camera... I know, bad workman always... etc... etc. etc...
I love the photos you put up earlier of the lake, and today's shots of the ducks are wonderful: the interaction of the reflections and the ripples in the middle shot are lovely.
Michele sent me today,

michele is neither an egg layer or a good pet, but she did send me here
I love ducks...the air force base nearby has a duck pond and they'll follow me around as I walk the path around it. They're either asking to be fed, or telling me to go faster. I'm not sure which ;)

I am not a good photographer. Though I am a good observer. I like the photographs you have taken. Keep up with it. I wish I could say the same to me too.
Thanks for your visits to my blogs!
Ducks are my fave animal so naturally I LOVE these photos. Great job!
Here from Michele's, have a great weekend.
Great photos, Sara.
I did enjoy them, Sara, especially the light reflections off the water! Michele sent me.
cool
this would look good as a vertical trilogy hung on a wall - all in one frame -- it would be quite ducky
