A Year of Simple Things...Week 18

Finding shoes that actually fit mother! These come from L.L.Bean - Size 3 Kids. The days of tying shoes laces are over...my greatest fear was that she would fall on her head when she bent over to try and tie her shoes...so slip-your-feet into shoes are much simplier. Plus these look really cute on her!

Those shoes are cute!

I always wish they'd make shoes as cute and whimsical for grown-ups as they do for kids. We don't have to be serious all the time, after all! :-)

Comfort, simplicity and safety...YES! Those are really cute. And they look very comfertable too...! Great that you were able to find something that suits her needs at this time...

I must be LL Bean's biggest fan. And now that the Canadian dollar is at par, I can afford more stuff from them.

I think it's time for another trip to Maine. A visit to their flagship store is magical. Then again, the entire town of Freeport is pretty special, too. What an amazing part of the world.

Dropped by from Michele's tonight. You're my first M&G visit this weekend. Yay!
