A Year of Simple Things...Week 17
While at Garden Meals a few weeks ago these beautiful flowers were blooming. Simple flowers, free in the wild - now those are simple things!
About the time I was ready to snap this photo - the breeze came through. I think I captured the movement in this photo.
And, a close up...
Hope your day is full of simple things!!

Flowers can be a beautiful gift and an elegant reminder of how wonderful our world can be. Thanks (by the way, there was no link to the poem). Michele also says hi!
What beautiful pictures! Those flowers look like little bursts of sunshine! ;)
Pretty flowers! I love the photo of them blowing in the wind.
Michele sent me, hope your weekend was lovely.
These are lovely...
I'm now regretting that I didn't make my husband stop the car on the way home today, so that I could snap pix of the roadside sunflowers.
Of course...there was a downpour at the time...

Great photos! I love flowers and the simply things in life.
Hi Sara. Thanks so much for your comment today.
I love these precisely because of their simplicity. They bring a much-needed shot of brightness to a gray, damp day, and they make me smile when I look at them.
Simplicity rules. It's a guiding force of my life, and these photos reinforce that in spades.
Great pictures! Love the concept - a year of simple things.
I love the beautiful yellow flowers! Digital cameras are great for practice aren't they? Hate to tell you how many I take that don't come out right ... but now it doesn't cost me anything. ;-)
