Half Mile...Revisited...
My favorite road...again! Half Mile Road dressed in winter.
There is nothing to say other than this road is what I think of when I think New England winters. The thought of a horse drawn sleigh taking a group to a holiday party just comes alive on this road.
The trees block the sunlight except for little patches of sunlight that drift through...
Yet, today the sky was clear blue and the sun was shining beautifully...but, Half Mile Road kept the mystery and beauty of the season.
These photos were taken from approximately the same spot as the other ones that are on this blog.

Beautiful road! It could be my favourite too ... except perhpas for the snow ...
What gorgeous photos! One of the benefits of living in snow, I guess (said by someone who has never lived in snow).
Nice to meet your blog. I came from Michele.
I have never been in a sleigh. I am adding this to my "100 in 1001" list. Taking a sleigh ride is something I have wanted to do for a long time. :-)
Oh Sara, how gorgeous!! I love your photos and how fun it is to see this road in all seasons.
It's the "road to Grandma's house." I remember it well. It's moment's like this that I miss NH (and I'm only an hour or 2 away) ;-)
Beautiful.. We get the snow here (in Wyoming), and we do have some trees (I can see them with my binoculars) but there is nothing like a New England community to feel Norman Rockwell-ish.
Michele Sent me
Michele sent me back, Sara, to see more of your beautiful photos......
Thank you for sharing your amazingly serene images of snow and sun....

I love your photos. It looks as though I could walk right into them.
I saw your comment elsewhere about Vince Vance and the Valiants, and I left one there telling you that I once danced with Vince - at a convention in TX. Michele says hello.
