Please Welcome...Griffin...
Please welcome my new grandson...Griffin. He is an Australian Shepherd/Sharpei Mix. My daughter, Tara, adopted him yesterday. Isn't he adorable???
Edited by Sara: If he looks a little sad, it could be that he is missing his eight brothers and sisters. Yep, there were nine of them...how precious!

He is absolutely precious!!! What a sweet face. Have fun!
He is utterly beautiful. If I had a dog like him, I suspect I'd spend most of my time hugging him.
Which, of course, means it's time to hug the schnauzer who's currently snoozing by my feet. I just love these furry little beings!
I suspect Michele does, too, which is why she asked me to drop by and welcome the new pooch to your extended family.
He looks a little sad. Is he missing his Mummy? I expect your daughter will soon make him smile. I'm sure they will make each other very happy.
Michele sends her best.
Congratulations Grandma!!!!
When do you get to meet him?
He is perfect!
Aaaawwwww...look at that face!! What a beauty!!!

Hi Sara, I have a grandpuppy, too! Australian Shepherd/Lab cross. Ty is a speckled pup.
Griffin is a cutie.
Tip for you. I was in Walgreen's the other day on the end of an isle there was a Milkbone display full of dog toys. I got a couple for $2.00 each!

Hi Sara,
Actually it was my little sister who got caught in the storm Col mentioned. But yes, Colleen is my aunt.
I love Griffin!!! I own a Sheperd myself.
thanks for stopping by!
Awww, he's adorable!
What a sweetheart! You must be so proud.
Oh, such a precious face! Yes, he will need lots of snuggles so he doesn't miss his siblings too much. hello from Michele's!
greetings from michele!
my first thought was "im glad i only have one at a time, having nine babies at once would suck!" but puppies are wonderful, and he's a cutie for sure.
a few weeks ago my teenage son came home and said "well, that's it. you're a grandma" after i sputtered something incomprehensible and clutched at my chest mumbling about a heartattack the boy proceeded to show me a picture on his phone of the 10 kindergarden children that he has chosen to adopt. he is in a leadership group at school and chose as his progect to mentor a group of kindergarteners from his old elementary school. he calls them his children.
i like your grandson story much better than mine. mine took 20 years off of my life.
OMG, he is ADORABLE!!! That sad face is just precious!
Keep us posted on his adjustment to the new family.
Oh he's beautiful! I want to be a Gramma to a pooch too ... aaaahhh.
Oh Sara, isn't he precious!
I have photos of 'The Swan' on my blog now.....

He is great. Nothing like puppy ears...they are so soft and I loooove puppy bellies..call me crazy. My girl at two still has the puppy ears..and though she has a belly which needs some trimming it's not a great soft puppy belly. Enjoy. He's beautiful.
Stopped in to say hi and I'm flipping out over how cute that pup is. Blue eyes? Oh he's amazing.
