A Finished Object...

Don't faint! Scarlett's socks are finally finished! These have been on needles for quite a while - can you believe almost a year (actual start date: June 21, 2008)??? But, they are done - beautiful and soft.

Yarn: Universal Yarn Inc. - Pace
Color: Bark 13 - Lot 6/1104
75% Super Wash Wool/25% Polyamide
Needles - US 3

Congratulations on finishing the socks! Many knitters only end up with one finished sock, it's so nice to see a complete pair.

Very nice...someday I'm gonna have a pair of hand-knit socks (NOT made by me.....too hard for me)....but I'll buy them at some shop or show if I have to do that...unless I can convince a friend to make them. Heck...I'd buy the yarn for them....I just need someone to MAKE them for me!!!

Good for you, Sara! I have started a sock 5 times and torn it out 5 times. I think it's time to actually buy the real sock yarn. A fancy one.
